Last updated: March 11, 2026  · Center for Professional Studies
Center For Professional Studies provides online professional certificate programs and related services, including certificate verification. Programs are professional, non-credit offerings unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Certain programs may be offered through limited enrollment windows and may include deadlines that vary by school and program. Your program page and/or eligibility email may display your cutoff time. Center for Professional Studies may modify program availability and enrollment windows at any time, subject to applicable law and any commitments in effect at the time of purchase.
- You may purchase a single program or bundle multiple programs in one checkout (including recommended certificate add-ons).
- Payments are processed through Stripe.
- Prices shown at checkout control. Promotional pricing (e.g., $99 student rate vs. $299 typical rate) may change at any time for future purchases.
Refunds are available only if all of the following are true:
- You request a refund by emailing support@katzberginstitute.org within 14 days of the date of enrollment, and
- You have not completed the program(s) for which you are requesting a refund, and
- A certificate for the program(s) has not been issued.
If a program is completed and/or a certificate has been issued, the purchase is non-refundable.
Course access is delivered via Thinkific. Your email address is used to create or link a Thinkific account for program access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials associated with that account.
You agree not to:
- Share accounts, login credentials, or program access with others.
- Plagiarize, cheat, or submit work that is not your own.
- Resell, redistribute, or publicly post course content or materials.
- Misrepresent program completion, credentials, verification results, or affiliation.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the Site, verification tool, or Services.
- Attempt to publicly list or display certificates that have not been officially issued and approved.
We may suspend or terminate access, withhold certificates, or revoke verification eligibility for violations.
A. Certificate issuance
Certificates are issued only upon meeting the program's completion requirements and any integrity checks we apply.
B. Public verification
Center for Professional Studies provides a public verification tool. For valid certificate IDs, the verification result may display: validity, issuance date, student name, completion date, honors vs. regular status, program name, and emphasis (if any). You consent to this disclosure as part of the credential verification function of the Services.
C. Misuse and revocation
We may invalidate verification results, revoke certificates, or refuse verification if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, policy violations, or misrepresentation.
All course content, materials, Site content, trademarks, and related intellectual property are owned by Center for Professional Studies or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
Center for Professional Studies does not guarantee employment, internships, interviews, admissions, licensure, or any specific outcome. Results depend on individual circumstances and effort.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Center for Professional Studies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Center for Professional Studies's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the program(s) giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Center for Professional Studies from claims, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
A. Arbitration agreement
Except as described below, disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court.
B. Exceptions
Either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible, or seek injunctive relief in court to prevent misuse of intellectual property, fraud, or unauthorized access.
C. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
D. Arbitration process
Arbitration will be conducted by a recognized arbitration provider (e.g., AAA or JAMS) under its applicable rules, with the location determined by mutual agreement (or otherwise in Delaware, unless required differently by consumer protection laws). Each party will bear its own attorneys' fees unless the arbitrator awards otherwise under applicable law.
We may update these Terms. The "Last Updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
